Anita Lehman (Seattle, WA)

Anita H. Lehmann is a distinguished artist, teacher, and award-winning architectural illustrator with over three decades of experience. A registered architect in Washington State, Anita's artistic journey began with a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington. She has since imparted her extensive knowledge of freehand drawing in Rome, Civita, and Seattle, offering intimate group classes in drawing, painting, and design.

Anita's approach to drawing transcends language and representation, connecting deeply with the world and capturing life's essence. Her practiced hand and countless hours of dedication transform her pencil into a seamless extension of her being, striving for humor, humility, work ethic, and confidence in every stroke.

Her expertise spans architectural design, graphic design, community planning, and design illustration. A recipient of the 2013 Civita Institute Fellowship and a former graduate student teacher at the University of Washington Rome Center, Anita excels in fostering creativity and collaboration.
